Born poorer than dirt and raised wild as the brambles: it's obvious just with a look. While there are plenty of folk given to such circumstances who manage not to make a livin' bein' a cutthroat...He wasn't one of 'em. He started cuttin' purses while knee-high to a Wailer and managed to survive long enough to get better, and at least a little smarter.
